Double-Hung Windows

Double-hung Windows

Double-hung windows are a practical design, widely used throughout both modern and traditional homes. Timber Double-hung windows consist of a bottom sash that slides upward in front of an top sash. Double-hungs have two grooves on side jambs that allow the sashes to slide independent of each other.

Double-hung windows are a very popular choice for windows because of their versatility. The added advantage of timber Double-hung windows is that they are long lasting and require minimal maintenance. They can be painted or stained and sealed to suit the decor of the room or exterior.
