Overview
We have opportunities available for timber joiners to join our workshop crew!
- We’re a local timber joinery, with lots of interesting and varied work on local, high-end residential projects.
- Friendly team with interesting and rewarding work, custom making solid timber doors and windows for local customers.
- Solid, well-established employer of 50+ years, with a great reputation and regular customers.
- Supported career progression & full training, in an experienced team. Forklift licence and full training is provided.
- Monthly RDO, and opportunities for overtime.
- Negotiable hourly rate, based on any prior experience.
- Hours are Monday – Friday 6AM to 2:30PM. Based on a 40-hour week, with RDO’s.
- Our on-site timber joinery factory is located here at 594 Rode Rd, Chermside QLD 4032.
Duties Snapshot
- Working with timber! Ideally you’ll have some experience working with timber, and we’ll help you advance your skills learning about timber types and their uses, selecting timber from the yard and reading workshop drawings.
- Working in conjunction with our design team to custom make architecturally designed solid timber doors and windows.
- Cutting and shaping timber, using tools like saws, planers, moulders etc. and joining machined components as designed.
- Glazing, fitting hardware and painting finished doors and windows.
- Driving (C-Class only).
